Invited by Smallbone Kitchens to run this project, The Studio specified changes in the interior design and handled the installation of the kitchen and new laundry room. Management of the project extended to the lighting installation – here, a pair of iconic Poul Henningsen light fittings hang over the kitchen table – as well as the selection and purchase of furniture and soft furnishings. Emma took trouble to find just the right tone of coral fabric for the cushions and blinds, echoing the colours in one of the client’s most favourite paintings on the adjoining wall of the kitchen.
